Meh. If it's trying to show off its physics, it's a bit late. If it's trying to show off its graphics, it's far too late. As for the game, it looks like every other myriad of starwars games that puts far too much emphasis on the force.

They can convince me to play this game, if there is full interactivity with the environment, as shown in the trailer, or if I can be a force-powered wookie or ewok.

Aside from that, I'm not that impressed.

seen it a couple of times before.

Of course it's a pre visulation; to inspire LEC games. But damn it looks very damn awesome, the trooper clinging to the metal for his life.

Man, there sure wouldn't be many games if every single game needed to feature new graphics or physics or else be late. It's been done before, but people think this demo is freakin' awesome for other reasons. Gameplay implementation. [/img]

I'm torn.

On the one hand it looks awesome, but on the other there's so much going on in some of those scenes that I very much doubt it's player-controlled to any kind of fine degree.  The moves where the forces blows outwards from the Jedi are cool, but the ones where they pick up multiple people and bounce them off the ground seem kind of lame.  These guys better be Sith/Dark Jedi, because that kind of bouncing/punishment does not befit a Jedi.

I think that the scene where the Stormtroopers get electrocuted would have been far better-executed if the Jedi threw his lightsaber through the two columns bringing the concrete structure down on top of them instead of the gratuitous strangulation.

Also, does this mean that in the next game we are going to have more force power to play with?  Doing things similar to this in previous games would have drained your force power pool about halfway through.

On the other hand though, a next-gen Jedi title will be very sweet.  No matter how they mess it up you'll still be a character with force powers rendered with next-gen physics and graphics, which will be goddamn awesome.
