Celebrity QC sightings
« on: 07 Aug 2008, 04:38 »

I was looking through a more recent edition of 'Geek' magazine the other day when I ran into an article on Will - The Boy Crusher - Wheaton. It commented on his nerdgasm lifestyle, his appearances, his Con identity but I glossed over all that, arrested by a picture of Will in a shirt that said "I can has Torrents?".

Tell me true, ladies and gents, has anyone else spotted a celebrity, running free in the wild, sporting one of the Glorious Leader's creations?

I think this thread would probably go better in the "General Discussion" sub-forum. So I'm going to move it there.

Um... ok, sorry. I'll go away now.

And I was going for Kim Jong Il-ian rather than Stalin.

Jeph'd probably laugh.

Man, I should put that as a sig image and when people tell me that we don't like sig-images here I can give them a 3-day ban and refer them to my sig image.

Just to clarify - because this has been bothering me - should I lurk more because I'm talking too much and you want me to STFU, or should I lurk more because if I had then I would have seen several posts on this topic?

I just want to be sure.

Oh, and bicostp, I'll try to remember to get the picture scanned on Monday. The magazine's at home and the scanner's at work.

The latter; the topic of QC merch sightings has been discussed before a couple of times.

But don't be discouraged from posting here, or anything! Just search next time or something.

Mea Culpa. I made the mistake of searching to see if the picture had been mentioned before but not the topic of Merch. I'll try to be more careful next time.

Woo hoo! My two weeks are up. That means ten awesome issues of QC to enjoy over the weekend.

As per request "The Wheaton" in all his celestial glory:

Now if only someone could find a picture of "The Whedon" in all his majesty. More power and respect to the Glorious Leader! Hail Jeph! Tempest Bebende!

I don't like reading webcomics in dribs and drabs. I prefer to read them in huge lumps, preferably over a hundred issues in one sitting... However that would mean not looking at my favourite webcomic for almost four months!!!

So my compromise is to go two weeks without looking at the comic and then have a binge of the two weeks and a couple of weeks of back story all in one go.

Sigh. Now I have to wait another two weeks.
