How hard would it be to get tickets if you tried at them right when they go on sale? Like, compared to another artist....

Well the last time I tried to get tickets to a long awaited reunion show it was for The Dismemberment Plan in '07 and the tickets were sold out basically immediately. As in I clicked "Buy Ticket" on Ticketmaster at the exact moment they went on sale and they were gone.

I'm both excited and terrified. Them getting back together is awesome, but the idea of me not being able to go for whatever reason is already hurting; tickets are gonna go FAST on that bitch.

I only live like an hour from NYC also. It would honestly be something I could never forgive myself for.

I'd be traveling from Vancouver, but I'm seriously considering hitting this up if I can get tickets.

I was so stoked when I read that article, but, alas, NYC is a bit out of my reach at the moment. I'm just going to hope they play some place a little further west (Coachella, plzplz?).

I can't believe the pre-sale is sold out already.  It was sold out at 10:00 a.m.

They've added three more shows to that same venue, four days in a row.

LET'S GO TO ALL OF THEM

Incidentally, some how I was able to get tickets for me and my brother about 10 minutes into the presale.  I was very happy this morning.

Should make for an adventure.

Sam. A road trip would probably be more fun but I was just sort of invited into pre-made plans and I think they just like the idea of flying.  The show is going to rule, but I am just liking the excuse to get back up to New York for a bit.
