The Mixtape Conundrum

Like Gryff, I am also making a mixtape.  And yes, it is also for a lady.  Here's the problem.  I want at least one song that incorporates her name into the title.  Anyone know any good tracks with "Marie" in 'em?

Oh, and as a guideline, she likes the alternative/indie scene.  Stuff like New Pornographers and whatnot.  But if there's a song outside that genre that rocks, tell me anyway.

Thanks a ton!

Edit: Once I end up giving it to her, I'll tell y'all how it went!

Sweet Marie - The Anniversary. Only thing that came to mind immediately. Good song, too.

Holy shit dude! Don't tell anyone you don't own 'Blonde on Blonde'.

*hugs*

It's gonna be okay.

Dude, Absolutely Sweet Marie?  That's a killer song!  I TOTALLY forgot about it.  So now I have two to consider, so far.  Or, I could just have both, as bookends for the mix.

I got so pumped, I went ahead and finished already!  Sorry, future contributors to this thread.  tommydski- despite me being here for a whopping two days, I already have realized just how awesome your music taste is.  Thus, tell me what you think of the final product.  (And if you hate it, well, be gentle with me).

2. In The Meantime- Spacehog
3. Use It- The New Pornographers
4. Flathead- The Fratellis
5. Neon Undercarriage- The Joggers
6. El Scorcho- Weezer  (Wish they were still good.)
7. Great Escape- Guster
8. We've Got Everything- Modest Mouse
9. Boxcar- The Rosebuds
10. Biomusicology- Ted Leo & The Pharmacists
11. Time With You- fIREHOSE
12. All Dead Heroes- The Beatings
13. Sugarcube- Yo La Tengo
14. Absolutely Sweet Marie- Bob Dylan  (Thanks, dude!)
15. New Slang- The Shins

Thanks again, you two.  I'll send you a private message or whatever in a week or so to tell you what happened (I don't want to post here because this thread'll be long dead by then).

Apparently that was my first post. This astounds me. No more lurking.

Also, that is one sweet mix-tape, my friend.

is the Rosebuds song a cover of the Jawbreaker song?

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.

the pillows (whom I haven't listened to in a long time, wow) have a song called "Marie of Paris" (it rhymes if you say it with a French accent!).  The lyrics are in Japanese, though.
