Just arrived today via FedEx (a week early).  Got the 1.83Ghz model.  That little doohickey on top of it is not an iPod Shuffle, but a remote for FrontRow that allows remote operation of media applications.  Built-in video cam.  I have, like, twelve boners right now.

Anybody recently upgrade?

Not yet, but I will soon, but it won't be a Mac. I intend to play Civilization 4 on it like... all day.

Install Windows XP on it!
Along with OSX of course. But do it. Just because it's apparently possible after all.

I think that's still a hoax (if that topic is the iMac-cum-Windows XP 64bits edition one) since there's quite a lots of thing in the video that are out of place.

I'd like a MacBook Pro but I brought the latest PowerBook G4 15inch a couple weeks ago before Apple took them aways, why? a lots of reason, one is that I'm a pro user which should answer your question.

thought I'm looking forward to the rumoured 13.3inch MacBook Pro, Windows Vista and OS X in one laptop? a dream come true!

Yes, because that's the FIRST thing I would do, being a lifelong Apple fanatic and all.

In all seriousness, I'd probably keep Windows off just because I don't want to allow work to creep so far into my home life that I'm able to run demos and test executables and our SDKs on my machine, and as long as I pretend that this machine is still a Mac-only box, we're fine.

I heard the new XP, Vista or whatever, takes 1.5 gigs of RAM just to minimize a window!

Also, I heard the next version of Word uses 20GB on your harddrive for every letter you type.

Damn M$, damn them and their bloatware!
