Music/Concert Photography
« on: 24 Oct 2006, 12:34 »

Now I'm not really sure if I was to post this in music or art so I went with music, I'm looking for your best/favorite pictures of your favorite bands. Could be stuff you took yourself, could be stuff you just have found on the internet. I realize that this is fairly useless without me posting some pics myself so I'll be doing that as soon as I'm home.

Oooo.? Okay, sounds like fun.? None of these are by me, but some do have a connection to me which I'll explain once I get to those.

The first are some shots of Ogre during the 2004 Sziget Festival, taken by Milan Kovacs.

Next are photos of Die Baader Mienhof Gruppe, taken at the Glaadstone Hotel in Toronto.? I did forty-five images for their projections and this was the first time they had started to use them.? They're quite good, and having a song called Digital Ninja, how could they not be?

Hopefully these pics aren't too terribly large.

Charles Peterson is worth cheaking out.

I'll upload some of the pictures I took at a Stephen O'Malley, Oren Ambarchi and Atilla concert in July.

I would have taken some photos at Gigantour, but it was in Oakland so I didn't want to get shanked for the camera.

I have some really good pictures from the Pitchfork festival it's just that they're on my pal's digital camera and he's rather lazy. Hopefully I can get those right aways.

There were about 2 dozen people there. No one knew about it, since he was supposed to play near Bismarck but something went wrong with that. He contacted some random local band and asked them to set up the show-and it really wasn't that bad as there were shows at four different venues that same night. (my town is not big)

MWhaling graciously posted this picture in response to my question about Swans' live show. (No, he didn't take it.)
