Seconded.

Marten: Zach Braff or Topher Grace
Faye: Anna Paquin or Amber Tamblyn
Dora: Alexis Bledel
Raven: Tina Majorino
Steve: Dax Shepard
Ellen: Danielle Panabaker
Pintsize: Voice of Alan Tudyk!
Hannelore: Brittany Murphy or Kristen Bell

... At least, that's what I think would work.

No on Braff (I get the impression that the only reason he keeps getting mentioned is because of the Garden State Soundtrack).  I don't think Jake Gyllenhal could pull it off either.

Possibly yes on Topher Grace for Marten.  Tom Welling would be a good choice too, since he already does a pretty good job of awkward shyness.  He'd just need to skinny up a bit.

Anyone already famous as any main cast member = a terrible idea.

We have done this kind of thread before, and it always degenerates into a list of actors who are hot right now.  In the real world, these kinds of movies are almost always a handful of relatively unknown stars, and maybe one or two name stars in supporting roles.

All that said: Zach Braff?  He looks nothing like Marten.  According to Jeph, Marten looks like a paler version of his friend Bryan.  This is Bryan:

That don't look very Zach Braffish to me.

On the other hand though, if we were looking at making a movie about the people here on the forums we'd definitely be contacting Mr Braff to play a certain mod *cough*Mnem*cough*.  (don't look at his more recent hairy pics, the resemblance is more striking when he's clean-shaven).

I don't want to see a movie made about Questionable Content unless it fits every single aspect of the storyline. No exceptions, no additions.

In other words, directed, produced, etc. by Jeph.

Though it would totally not be that good to make a Questionable Content movie,my cast would be as follows.

 Marten:Jason Lee or Jake Gyllenhaal
Faye:Any of the attractive hipster girls who resemble her.
 Dora:Shannon Doherty?
Steve:Adam Pascal (If not quite so RIPPED)
 Ellen:Uhh..
 Raven:Hmm..

Marten- I could sort of see Topher Grace.  Maybe.
Faye- Thora Birch
Dora-  Shannon Sossaman
Raven- Selma Blair, if she got a little more meat on her bones
Ellen-  Allyson Hannigan
Steve- Whoever suggested Stifler earlier might have been on to something.  But think more Road Trip than American Pie.
Hannelore- Judy Greer (she has under-eye circles already!  I can relate.)
Jimbo- Jason Lee.  He could just walk over from the set of My Name is Earl

Pfff, I dont care who play the main character, as long as there is a "Mr. Jackson chasing some weird guy in a suit" in the background during the entire  film, like, in the opening shot, somewhere in the middle, and then in the end... or something like that, totally unrelated, but kinda cool :)

*edit* Oh, and by mr. Jackson, I mean mr. Samuel L Jackson.
