One of the reoccurring criticisms of my website is the lack of comic on the main page.  The site stands as it is here.  But, i've made a mock-up of what the page would look like if i changed it
please let me know what you think, i can't decide this on my own...0_o

the 'new' format is pretty much the same thing that any other webcomic uses. it's a tested formula that works.  so if that's what you're going for, then yeah, use it. try different layouts to get the comic on the front page though. try putting the comic on one side, and the update notes on the other or something.

to answer your question without all the preachy "think outside the box" bullshit, yes. it looks better.

If you could put a comic number/date above the comic it would be helpful, that way when somebody checks up on the site they can tell pretty quick if it's a new comic if they don't remember.
