Is anyone other than I rediculously excited that this show is finally being released on DVD?  I remember watching this from the first episode.  Bruce Campbell as a sci-fi cowboy?  Hellz yeah!

He's a fine cowboy, and he's not gay too, which makes him a non-conformist.

Augh, the one Bruce Campbell thing I've not seen. Curse me only being 5 when it was on.

I've heard it's good, but never seen it. Is it good, or is it just Bruce that makes the show?

It's really good.  I was young enough that I hadn't seen or heard of any of the Evil Dead movies (though, I may have seen clips of AoD), so I was just watching it based on its own merits.  That show started my Bruce Campbell fascination.

I'm also a big Campbell fan who never really was aware of Brisco when it was on, and thus didn't get a chance to see it.  I did enjoy his other show, Jack of All Trades, though.  And if I know him, I imagine he played both shows rather similarly.

BTW, you can watch episodes of Brisco County (legally and free) on AOL television.

It's got some other great cult tv shows as well.

At this point they are turning tons of old T.V. shows into movies, i.e. Charlies Angels, Starsky and Hutch, etc.  Where is the Legends of Brisco County Jr.: The Journey into the Time Sphere?  I'd watch it constantly.

I really need to get my hands on some Brisco action. I've heard so many good things about it and really, what could be better than Bruce Campbell and horses?! Wait...does he get shirtless in at least one episode because that'd probably make it even better...oh the chin *hearts*

I'm pretty sure there's at least one episode where he takes off his shirt.  I remember it because they were taking a bath in the lake, but the main lady was already there (taking a bath, also shirtless).

Did the series ever end properly or was it just cut?

I used to love the show but I never saw the ending (this is turning into a running theme for me it seems).

Oh shit yes

I thought I was never going to see this show without importing American DVDs/Tapes and buying all new equipment to watch them on.

I remember this show! Didn't know it was out on dvd though, I'll have to check that out.

I got to meet Bruce once for a signing after seeing that movie, Man with the Screaming Brain. He's a pretty cool guy.

He should totally come to Australia with the next movie. I promise I won't get him to say 'groovy' or 'hail to the king, baby'

What's funny is that as cool as he is, I could kind of tell he was tired of being asked certain questions. Before he started his Q&A session in the movie theater he said he didn't want to be asked about doing another Evil Dead movie, whether Brisco County, Jr. is coming back, or about Ash vs. Freddy vs. Jason.

Have you read any of his books?

Yes, I have If Chins Could Kill and read it a few times now (loving the pictures too btw) but as yet, I haven't been able to get my hands on the second book, Make Love (the Bruce Campbell way)
I'd steer clear of the countless fangirly questions and skip straight to the whole squealing and tearing off his shirt while my mate took a photo. Actually I'm not sure which one he'd like less...
