Well she might be risque for the forums but she is covered (even if barely so in certain spots).  If its inappropriate I apologize, but if its ok I'd like comments on it. :)

I did it all in OC, but since the watercolor layers show everything I had to put them together in photoshop (next time I do a full time deal I'll do it all in PS I guess.)

Girl & BG

Girl
(Since I put them together fast the magic wand messed up her outline sort of) :(

That is a really nice picture!  I think that the shading and tone in this picture is very good.  Have you been drawing/colouring/painting for long?

Thanks, I got my BA in Visual Arts/Applied Design so I took every art class I could in studio arts and computer arts, but found it hard to get a job just yet so I do this in my free time while preparing to get cert. as a teacher to just pay the bills.

I've been drawing forever but I have a real hard time doing it like this on PS.  PS just doesn't seem as comfortable as OC is when painting/drawing with the pen pressure and everything, maybe I could pry Jeph away to see if he knows what I mean.  Anyways thanks, I know it has some problems but I think I'll just leave it as it is and go on. :)

I like! Nice warm coloring, there's loadsa thought in that, and it comes out great... the eyes bug me a bit... can't put my finger on why though, so I'll just leave this comment to say: awesome work!!

not bad, looks very painterly. if you have any specific questions about drawing in photoshop i'd be more than happy to answer them, i like to think i have a decent command over most of it's aspects...
