Inlander I felt sorry for your thread even though I don't know what the Wire is. But at least now when people ignore it they will not see a big ugly 0 next to the reply button right?

The Wire is a police-procedural show set in Baltimore, created by David Simon (who also created Homicide: Life on the Street). It's uncommonly good at exploring both sides of the law and all the work required to get a conviction in Baltimore.

You can get the first two seasons on DVD in the US.
