grey's anatomy addict right here.

and most extreme slimination challenge on spike tv. take a crazy japanese game show (they're all crazy, but yeah) and mix it with silly voice overs and you have yourself one of the funniest things ever. even japanese people like the new version better than the original show.

Japanese people like it better?  Reference? Not t hat I doubt you, I just think it's an interesting phenomenon if it's true. (a couple of japanese people you happen to know don't count).

For me:

The Boondocks
The Daily Show
The Colbert Report
The Venture Bros.
Smallville
Frontline
House

Are all pretty much the only programs I watch regularly (though I will admit to getting sucked into Project Runway.  And also that the person I wanted to win in that show did).

other than that, House is so fucking amazing that when I watch it, my nipples are hard the whole show. (even during commercials)

Scruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuubs.

I had never seen the show until march break.  My friend and I went on a trip.  She had a portable dvd player and over the course of the trip I watched the first four seasons.  Now I'm hooked.  I can't stop.

As I don't own a television, the only TV shows I'm following now (via the intuhr webs) are Lost and Prison Break.

Both are silly at times, but they offer short doses of entertainment when I need one.

I got into Green Wing when i was back home for Easter but now i'm back at uni, in my 'broken TV' flat, missing its delights. And i left at an exciting bit too (Mac's ex coming back onto the scene). Oh, such Green Wing addict frustration i suffer!

Although, on topic, i'd say Dr Who, My Name Is Earl and Never Mind The Buzzcocks re-runs are my favourite current TV shows. Which i'm missing. Along with Green Wing. Did i mention i was missing that? :p

Man, I can't really stand much TV.  I barely watch it at all.  Among the stuff that I appreciate and sometimes watch: good anime on Adult Swim, The Daily Show, and The Mythbusters.

I also love Firefly to pieces, but I guess that doesn't count anymore.

My Name is Earl, House, Mythbusters, South park.

Damn already all covered.

Tons of Fresh Price reruns, but thats because it's ALWAYS ON.

House is such an amazing show. Seriously, and I'm glad that so many people love it. Gives me hope that it will stick around for a bit.

Hizzy and Scrubs. Everything else I watch is on DVD or the inter-nets.

Man, I do not have high hopes for Hizzy. It is a Fox show, it is awesome, and it stars Hugh Laurie. We might as well dig a grave right now, except that season 2 is nearly finished here and that is just creepy.

Star Trek: TNG
Miami Vice (fuck yes!)

and my current fave,

There is no such thing as good TV shows on Danish television, and since that is all I have I watch a minimal amount of TV.
I watched 24(not the version in the USA, but the previous one) even though it is mostly harmless, "Well I'll be damned, first they try to cause a meltdown on all our nuclear powerplants and now they have stolen a nuclear warhead? what a novel idea!"
They just started showing Commander in Chief which I think will be decent fun, the premise is interesting anyway.
But we usually get all the stupid serials like Tru Calling, Desperate Housewives, aussie soap operas and a no doubt horrid series called Medium.

Do any of you know Threshold because they are going to air this soon?

Best god-damn show on television without a shadow of a doubt.  If you liked Homicide: Life on the Street back in the day, you'll like the Wire.  Warning, though: to get the most out of it you'll want to watch it right from the first episode of the first season, otherwise it might be hard to figure out what's going on with some of the characters.  I can't wait 'til Season 3 starts screening in Australia.
