Whether you like C-A-D or not (Personally I find it has it's moments), but there is no way you can say it's the worst comic on the internet when dreck like Scandal Sheet is out there.

You say that as if there is some absolute scale of humor, which is false. Humor is all about perspective and context; how well a joke works depends on the audience. For example, while I agree that Achewood is hilarious, I'm sure there are a large number of people (probably the majority of people) who would find it completely baffling, silly, and rather offensive. What he's saying is that those three comics have fairly similar intended audiences and are therefore more directly comparable with each other than they are with some other completely different sort of comic.

Not to say your statement was incorrect either. But there's the thing; you are both right, depending on what context you are looking at (webcomics in general or gamer comics specifically?)

Incidentally, in your reply to obsessions you made it pretty clear that you are not only comparing based on quality of humor. You suggested that how widely known a given comic is is also a factor in which is the worst comic. It's unfair to declare someone as using faulty logic when they are simply using a different set of values than you are.

Are you saying that I can't compare Achewood to CAD? Look, it doesn't take a genius to see how much cleverer Chris Onstad's writing is than Tim Buckley's, regardless of the premise of the comic (or maybe even regarding the premise of the comic, since Onstad made a comic about anthropomorphic animals engaging in repartee and otherworldly activities, whereas Buckley made another comic about two roommates who play video games).
