Why did someone edit my post?  I know it wasn't me.  Either someone knows my password, or a mod (I don't know, are there any besides Jeph?) decided to be a dick.

I modified my original post, but you can see what the person inserted into my post when I was quoted earlier on.

EDIT: Oh, he's doing it to a lot of people.

Arch Enemy - Ravenous

Seeing these guys live was pretty insane. Not only was I about 15 feet from the band, seeing a tiny blonde German woman make some pretty fucking evil sounds was mildly surreal.

And her accent was pretty hot when she actually spoke normally, too.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again, Angela Gossow can eat my fucking soul ANY day.

I'm listening to:

Edge of Sanity - Enigma

This is one of the many songs that makes me want to punch people in the cock when they claim that there is no emotion in metal. Gods, this song is so fucking beautiful, AND brutal. I propose a new word: Breautiful.

"THE FURTHER SIDE, A CONFOUNDED LIE!
PANEGYRATION, THE RE-UNION OF RIDDLES,
THE SORROW! THE FUNERAL TRUTH!
MENTALLY FRAUGHT WITH PSEUDO-RELICS...
ENIGMA! UNHOLY! UNGODLY! COMMANDER OF THE REGENERATION!
INSIDIOUS AND CAUGHT...IMPLOOOORED BY DISGRAAAAACE!
INHUMAAAAAAATION! THE BURIAL OF MAAAAAAAAN!
CONFESSSION...UNIFY ALL EVIL!"

Amd the guitar! Ah! So fucking majestic!

Led Zeppelin - Moby Dick.

I just got 'How the west was won' the other day, and this is my first time listening to this 19.23 version of the song; Was surprised when it started out exactly the same as the recorded version,n and wondering why it was 19 minutes long, i had the idea of bonham:

10 minute drum solo

Why was this song considered a B side?  It's sublime.  I have yet to hear a bad Clann Zu song.

I'd say it sounds mystical-like, but it's the Prodigy, so it doesn't work that way.  It's still a pretty awesome song.

Fuck yeah, I love Sphynx slightly better then Djinn but they are both awesome records.

"As Jerusalem Burns" they're first album is a bit different but still very good, less epic much more raw but still well worth a listen.

Melechesh are a really great band. If you haven't already you may want to check out Absu, Proscriptors main band, cause face it the mans a fucking awesome drummer.

Nora - Dreamers and Deadmen.  This album is 3 years old, but I still like it as much as I did the first time I listened to it.  There's nothing really flashy about this band or anything, they're just really, really good "meat & potatoes" style hardcore.

Atmosphere - "Bird Songs Why The Caged I Know"

Quote
It's the bird, it must have been the bird
Disgusting critter, it must
We should have known better then to trust
This disease infested ball of lust and carnage
Piece of garbage with wings and she has the guts to sing
Get the bird, catch her shoot her, I dont care
Get the bird, bring her down to the ground from out the air
Gotta tear her apart, let me at her first
Sink her to the level of the rest of us that inherit the earth

What's she thinking? does she really believe
That shes above the creatures that work the dirt and the streets
See her up in the tree, looking down at you and me
Like she's chosen over those who walk around on two feet
The bird, the melodys she play
The music she make, rubbing our faces in the feces of the daybreak
Trying to remind us, its time to awake
Antaganizing and instigating my hate
The chirps, I turn them into screams
My feathered friends end will justity the means
Disturbed, I'll grab her by her beak
And swing her in circles untill she's too dizzy to speak

Well I'll shake her from her branch, tear apart her nest
Break her skinny legs and fry her eggs up for breakfast
(she's a snake that can fly) she's just food for the fleas
She thinks she's better then me just because she's free?
I'll shake her from her branch, tear apart her nest
Break her skinny legs and fry her eggs up for breakfast
(she's a snake that can fly) she's just food for the fleas
She thinks she's better then me just because she's free?

My beautiful bird has gone away

Echo & the Bunnymen - New Direction

Their self titled album somehow gives me really strong memories of this summer hanging out at Deer Lake park. It's all flighty and cheestacular and expansive like a nice big crisp lake with lilypads all over with the most fucking bizarre semi-claustrophobic park layout (one day me and my friends got lost in the cramp wooden mountanous area for at least three hours).

Good times.

Well, if it's song titles we're talking about, The Great Redneck Hope has some winners:

"Woah There, Frankenstein - I Didn't Program You To Make Out With Boys"
"Girl, Are You Down With Bacteria? And If So, Would You Like To See The Inside Of Our Van?"
"Oh My God. Omigod. Oohhh My God. I Thought Nailguns Had A Saftey"
and the all time winner,
"They Say The People Elect The Government They Deserve, But I Don't Remember Knife-Raping Any Retarded Nuns"

Yes, this is grindcore, and yes I am listening to it right now.

Darkthrone - Unholy Black Metal

I love the short and fast solo, sounds like an air raid siren and then it cuts to the lyrics, Nocturno Culto sounds absolutely fantastic and the echo effect on he's voice is absolutely unreal, the production on Under a Funeral Moon is amazing, one of the most evil sounding records I've heard.

"When the gates have all been opened
When the funerals never end
When satans power paints out hearts
And sadness our souls

When witches burn the priests
When the ancient ones return
When the demons ride the numb
With their hordes of dark desires"
