Holy jesus it's been a long time since I've posted.

I'm only posting here so that I can say how excited I am about the zelda game thats coming out in fall.
I honestly can't wait? Am I the only one? Kill me.

In all seriousness though, the game ought to be really brilliant.
That is all.

As long as it doesn't have anything at the level of the triforce map quest from Wind Waker, it should be amazing.

Plus, it looks really pretty. Not sure I'm gonna get a Revolution for it, even if it has a widescreen feature. Gamecube version for me, I guess.

I hated windwaker just because of that part.
Especially since I didn't have enough money to get my stupid maps translated or whatever. I nearly stopped playing right there.

Not sure if I can remember that triforce map quest. But anyways I loved wind waker.

I'm highly considering getting a Wii. If not I'm picking up the Gamecube version for sure

Hi again!

Man, I always try to be skeptical about Zelda games but it more or less is always pointless.

You mean, Zelda the Twilight Princess? They've been changing the goddamn release date for like 5 years now. Latest I heard it was supposed to be released in May THIS YEAR (obviously the date has passed), and instead they bumped it to the release of the Nintendo Wii.

This is ridiculous.

I mean, please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure the Wii won't come out for YEARS.

And they seriously should name the game to Link: Twilight Princess, and not Zelda. She only makes a short appearance.

Yeah I never quite understood why they didn't start calling it 'Link' instead of 'Zelda' after people figured out that Link is the main hero.

Ah yes, this game makes the purchase of my unsightly cubic lump seem much more worthwhile.

I adore the Zelda series, you can just get lost in them and pretend that you have some sort of destiny and purpose for living. And a stylish green tunic.

Yeah, I dunno what the deal is with that. The important thing is, Nintendo's already said it will be before Thanksgiving, and obviously they can't release before they announce the date, so this could come anywhere from late September to early November. Almost all opinions I've read say it will release before the PS3, and most people seem to think it'll come somewhere between October 15th and November 10th.

of course it'll be out before the ps3. the ps3 is just an illusion created to get our hopes up.

Also I would like to point out that the combination of Sailor Moon and faux-Kerouac / Sonic Youth spelling is perhaps the purest distillation of what this forum is that we have yet been presented with.

I can't wait for LoZ; TP, I mean I still have my preorder form when it was supposed to come out in like two dates before.

Has anyone heard anything about the new Zelda game from the DS, Phantom Hourglass or something?

man, the ending of wind waker pissed me off. did it piss anybody else off?

spoiler i guess. small pointless rant, don't bother reading past this sentence.

he could have wished for anything, you know, restoring the continent and giving everybody a great life, but instead he did the most disappointing thing in the world: "i wish for HOPE." i guess it's a paradox, but if i were link i'd be depressed that all i had was hope when he could have given the near-dead world any fucking thing.
