that is so cool.

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.

Ok, that is really damn cool. Did you attach the needle to a streched out rubber glove?

You would think that the needle would not be fine enough/would scratch the record...

That sounds a lot better then I thought it would. I wonder if you could get a better range in the frequency if you used a smaller needle, or possibly a different material for the "speaker" part. I am totally going to see if I can't dig through all the crap I have and put somthing similar together.

You could also preserve your vinyl for longer than two repetitions with a smaller needle, too.

At least try something like a dress pin. And getting a proper needle for a deck or a phonograph is only like $20 ($40 for decent quality, but that's for dj nerds and antiques-people).

Hey everyone, I need to buy some new bookshelves. When I get back from Ikea and put them together you're all invited to the bookshelf launch party.

I don't need no damn string!

edit: I'm not really interested in making this a practical device, calenlass. I would never permenently tie up my Legos.

Or maybe I should say that since this project has received a grade in my physics class, I've lost interest.
