New Dylan Album.

I'm sure most Dylan fans will know this is happening, but I didn't see a thread on it.

Is anyone else wetting themselves in anticipation? I've got it on pre-order, and it's out a week tomorrow. I cannot fucking wait. If it's as good as Love And Theft, I will have an orgasm. Hell, if it's as good as fucking Oh Mercy I'll have an orgasm.

Anybody else got it pre-ordered, or heard any songs from it? I've deliberately avoided listening to any of them because I dont' want to ruin it.

Its marked on my calender.
The last time my calender said 'new Dylan album' was before 9/11, with Sept 11 circled and the words 'new Dylan album' written in
so i'm a bit scared for Aug 29th
i hope i get to review it
if not i'm buying it the first day it comes out

I just found out that I'm seeing Sir Dylan in Fargo on Sept 9th! This will no doubt be fantastic.

Quote from: tommydski
dylan died in 1975.
his tourbus collided with the rolling stones.
there were no survivors.

I hear the accident was caused by the zombie Paul McCartney on a moped.

Now I don't want to spoil this for myself too much, so please only answer the questions I ask:

Is it better than Love And Theft (if you thought LAT was good, that is)?
How long is the album?
How long is the shortest track on the album?
How long is the longest track on the album?

Eh, Dylan is a great musician and song writer, but stupid if he thinks nothing great has come out in the last 20 years.

He's talking from a sound quality standpoint. Producing, and whatnot.

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.

Those quotes come out in apt parallel with the death of dynamic range thread.
I just assume either Dylan hasn't been exposed to anything besides Big Name Garbage, or he's just a grumpy old fart. One is probably more likely than the other.
