(On a sidenote, are there any other great Firefox extensions I'm missing out on?)

I love Firefox, more so because I can customize it and make it look purdy...I have a nice, classy black and silver theme going on right now...

so for the rest of you that use Firefox, what extensions do you rock?  I have a few, my favorite of which include FoxyTunes (it's a remote control app for your media player that sits in the bottom corner of the browser window) and then there's the absolutely useless but completely fun "Anti-Paranoia" which randomly pops up a little window in the bottom corner that says things like "Don't panic! Everything is fine."  It makes my browsing happy

Opera9 and also Firefox with several extensions (among them Adblock and VideoDownloader) for some quick browsing, because my Opera opens ~30 pages by default.

Opera is my browser of choice. I could use Firefox, but I find Opera to be faster, and for some reason, I just prefer it. And I don't even use a lot of the built-in features like torrent downloader, contacts, e-mail, notes, chat etc. I've customized it quite a bit, so that the stuff I don't use is gone, and it's now exactly the way I like it. I don't really know why I don't use a lot of the built-in features, because they all work just fine, but I guess in my head there's still this little voice saying "a browser is a browser". Might have to try and change that later on.

Also, I've read that Opera is more secure than Firefox (don't remember where, so don't quote me on this and certainly not fight me on it, because I can't really trust my source when I don't remember what it was), which wouldn't surprise me, because 1) Firefox has more users and 2) Firefox is open source, which isn't a bad thing, I guess, but the securty holes are more "out there". Plus, Opera is Norwegian, which is never a drawback, but by far not the only reason I've been using it for the last couple of years.

What? Teh Ladybug is a Norwegian? Ah, the surprises this place holds. I greet you from the cold =)

Now, back on topic! I am one of the few with Opera (as it's Norwegian and a part of the whole Norway nerd pride), Firefox and IE installed, and still using IE. Yes, indeed. I've used IE for as long as I can remember. The day my computer explodes as a cause of the massive lack of security in IE, I will probably stay away from it. But as that hasn't happened, and I'm protecting my computer well enough, it's still my browser of choice.

Firefox is used now and as well though, but Opera's just there for show. For now...

Ah, another Norwegian? Cool. How do you cope without tabbed browsing? Or do you use IE7? Opera took me a little while to get used to, but now I love it and couldn't live without it :p

I sometimes wish that I still had IE available, though, because certain stuff only works in IE, and it annoys the hell out of me. I'm considering using BootCamp and installing XP, just so that I can watch football matches/summaries and broadcasts from my hometown online.. Shouldn't be necessary, but ah well.

Firefox's IE tab: pwns.  It can do anything IE can do and I don't have to open IE.  It's been a long time since I've used IE.

I love FF because of its customizability.  Extensions and add-ons make for a nicer browsing experience.  The mighty adblock is the one I like most.  I use it not only on ads, but on the damn seizure inducing avatars.  And any other images that annoy me.

The inbuilt email is precisely why I prefer Opera to any of the other browsers I've come across.  It's nice not having to either install a separate mail notifier or check every half hour.

I used Flock 0.5 for a while, but 0.7 removed all the useful features, so I've since gone back to using Firefox.  And, as a bonus... all the extensions work!

I can genuinley say I've never had it crash. But then, I've never had a browser that crashed. Were you running hundreds of extensions?
I've just installed firefox 2.0, haven't seen any differences so far, apart from the skin, but I like how all my extensions and bookmarks crossed over automatically.

Firefox 2.0 had the nifty feature of suggesting things you may be searching for, in a predictive-text kind of way. However, when it comes up with things like this, it makes me want to reinstall opera:

Ignore the fact that I have searched for gogo dancers in the past.

At work I'm stuck with IE6.

At home I have FF. But I'm an idiot and can't figure out how to have links automatically open in tabs rather than a new browser, and I don't use any extensions, 'cause I didn't know that there were any, and it never shuts up about using WMP as the default video player whenever I'm trying to watch porn online videos.
