Uh.  I read one on a flight once, because that is all I could find.  Like the female Tom Clancy.

I like her books. They are total popcorn, and I think that I might actually be killing brain cells reading them, but they are laugh out loud funny most of the time.

Another author I consider in the same genre is Nevada Barr-she has a park ranger/mystery solver/perpetually in trouble character. More serious, but still fun.

Stephanie Plum is good, easy reading.  There's no value whatsoever in the books, but they're a hell of a lot of fun.  I'm a fan.

I work at a Borders, so I have to shelve this rubbish a lot. Honestly, we sell more crap books than anything. I mean our romance section alone! :p

Although I suppose if people enjoy it it's not so bad, provided they don't start thinking it's real *coughdavincicodecough*
