Joey from A Softer World linked to this comic the other day.  I don't know if anyone else has heard of it or not, but if you haven't you should check it out.  It looks almost water-colory? as far as the art far the strips I've read have been pretty cool.  The guy (or girl?) who writes them explains the strip this way
With this comic I am pretending I am making a comic strip for a newspaper in the early 20th century. A special newspaper that lets me use as much color as I want.

It IS water-color!

Dude is crazy-good.

It reminds me a lot of Copper, only it, uh, actually updates somewhat frequently.
Deathmole Jacques' head takes up the bottom half of the panel, with his words taking up the top half. He is not concerned about the life of his friend.
