i dig the art, and appreciate that the person can draw well...

but:
Quote from: (the about page)
So Common, So Cheap is basically random comics about an emo kid named Kyle, just getting by with life his own assy way. Alot of sexual innuendos, stereotypes (so yes, Kyle's personality is that way on purpose), basically alot of jew-baggery that will offend many, usually people who are "in the scene". Well, not saying this whole comic's point is to offend, it's just for fun...so i'm saying if you take this comic too seriously, then yeah you'll get hurt :P

But hey, this doesn't mean i'm only poking at emos. oh no, everyone (the wangstaz, the indie kids, the vintage kids...) will have their share of being made fun of having the great honor to appear in my comic (:

This comic isn't meant to make fun of the way music has categorized people.....really.

...Did i mention there is alot of sarcasm in this comic? yeah."

Agreed.  I like the art, but there's really not anything there that struck me as all that funny.  Just the same rehashed "jokes" about the "emo scene" which were funny once, a while ago, but are kind of stale now.

I actually like this comic. I think I may have found another comic I can be addicted to (along w/ QC) the other ones just didn't stick with me.

oh god, all you emo children can rot in the firey pits of eyeliner and skinny jean hell!

it didn't look enticing enough on the front page to drag me into the comic. i like qc because, hey, its on the same page as the url. no crazy links i have to find my way around....and yes, im incredibly lazy.

not to mention "updates whenever" pisses me off because LAH does that for chopping block and goes months almost years at a time without updating.

wow...

that was....

just wow.

You forgot the black abyss that is their heart.

For shame. Just because someone likes emo music, does not make them emo.

Also, good comic, nice art style.

Seeing as tommy doesn't usually make it into the Comics and Drawings forum, I thought I should post this in his stead.

A definitive history of emo, thoughtfully provided for your education by the great tommy.

Before you use the word emo, at least learn what it means.

On topic though, I took the time to read through the So Common So Cheap archives.  I found it to be ironically amusing.  It could almost be described as the antithesis of QC.  Even funnier were the forums.  Oh man.  Kind of the epitome of faux-emo and faux-punk.

If you want a true punk webcomic, I direct you here.  Because Mitch Clem is god.
