One may chat about a game in a community, but it is much more enjoyable playing together.
In case you feel like making use of the online capabilities of your favorite console with your friends, hesitate not to share your code here!

This post gets updated to serve as a convenient list.

In case you add someone, be sure to mention QC in the 'invitation message'.

Wii
The Wii is upon us people, and I'm sure several had the fun of making cool Mii's.
What is even cooler is that when you have a network of added friends, Mii's will run from one place to another in the plaza or we can send them directly.

I think we should make this into the all-purpose Wii number/DS Friend Code/X-Box Live tag thread, and then maybe have it stickied?

Regardless, I'm actually going to buy the wireless adapter for my DS and Wii tomorrow, so I'll post my IDs after that. Even though there aren't any online Wii games yet.

My X-Box Live Gamertag is Lilarcor (100 geek points if you know that reference). However, I don't actually have my 360 hooked up right now, so a friend request would be wasted on me right now.

I'm going to go get the Wii/DS USB Wi-Fi adapter tomorrow with one of the gift cards I got for Christmas, so I'll list my Wii number and DS codes for Mario Kart and Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin when I get that.

Oh, and Final Fantasy III. All of you who have already finished the game should send me ridiculously overpowered equipment.

You don't need to be connected to the internet to see your Wii code (check messages - address book)

Messed up? Try setting wifi channel to 1 and 11. After update I couldn't test connections for a day orso, which is weird. Extensive information on this on the web.

I got the 110213 error code. I changed it to 11, it didn't work, I guess I'll change it to 1 today. But everywhere I've read on the internet says that it has to go back to Nintendo to be fixed.

Early US adapter?

Some of the units at US launch already had their firmware loaded on them, bricking them when updated. So it is possible and if it is that code it should be replaced, I think they'll even mail one and let you mail the old one back in the same box so you don't lose your Wii for a while.

Hmm...I think I'll try that. I hope they do, but first I want an SD card so I can keep my zelda and wii sports saves. doing that tomorrow. I didn't know the actual reason behind it, I just knew that it was one of the broken ones. i've tried 1,6,11, and 12, which are all supposed to help somehow, it hasn't worked. oh well.

Well, I just found out that Nintendo will replace faulty Wii's in 3-4 days with a new one. Wanted to pick up an SD card to transfer stuff, I'll call them tomorrow. So I'll put my friend code up in a week or so.

Yes the wifi is a bitch with the wii, channel 1 works for sure, i know because im using it, try and set up a wifi connection with no security first just to see if you can connect and then protect it, it will not connect on anything other then 1 or 11 so dont try.
