Lebanon are Going on 2nd American Tour
« on: 04 Mar 2007, 07:43 »

Pretty much my favorite local band is going on tour (they're leaving on Frieday night) and you should go see them (if they're playing near you, that is).

Baisically, imagine Slint and Don Caballero's bastard child and you'll have Lebanon. I've been to their goodbye concert last night and it kicked so much ass it was unbelievable.

These guys sound pretty sweet. I would go, but I am already going to Explosions in the Sky and I don't know if I will have money to spare.

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.

Sadly, they are not coming anywhere near me.  It's a shame, because I would go see them.  They sound pretty cool.

Here is a live session they recorded at a 106 FM radio show.

Tommy, you'd think that the name would give them some bad reputation (I dont really see why, though) but inspite the fact that they are probably one of the best bands to come out of Israel recently, there were only about 30-40 people at their goodbye concert.
