Matt, try to be a little more formal.
Punctuate. Remember, capital letters are your friend.
There's nothing wrong with liking 'poppy' music. Pretty much all music is 'pop' anyway.

How do I feel about Bowling for Soup? Not enough depth for me.
They're kinda like teenagers in that respect. :)

I'm gonna take it, Matt, that either you didn't do much lurking or you're just tyring to get a reaction.  Either way, listen to this:       http://www.sendspace.com/file/so5ni8
We don't really listen to Bowling For Soup or Anberlin or Coheed and Cambria here.

We don't really listen to Bowling For Soup or Anberlin or Coheed and Cambria here.

some of us used to occasionally listen to the last one before the lead singer started writing complex prog epics about his fucking bicycle.

Actually, if he is indeed doing that, it's kind of tongue-in-cheek, and therefore worth it.  However, sonically, Coheed and Cambria are the equivalent of a fat guy shitting out its intestines.

Remember Jared and how into that song he was?  I actually bought the CD on his recommendation, and found it mostly boring, even at 12/13.

That one song "The Girl all the Bad Guys Want" or whatever it was called, was one of the few songs I've heard that made me think, "Oh my god, this is the worst and/or stupidest thing ever." Not that it was played terribly (which would be inexcusable, considering the simplicity) but just the general aesthetic sense and especially the lyrics drove me mad. It just struck a chord with me, I suppose, an extremely dissonant and unsettling chord in the darkest bowels of my soul.

He was the kind of kid who, once you gained his trust, would tell you how big his penis was, completely unsolicited.

I do not like BFS. Sadly, my twin brother loves them and his stereo is quite loud. But then again 50 Cent is his idol, this may be saying something.
