Hey guys, this is a thread in which I am introducing you to this great band from New Zealand called So So Modern. They make crazy pop music with synthesizers, keytars, guitars, vocoders, drums, and lots of vocals. There have awesomely weird time signatures, shouty call-and-response vocals, heaps of energy, and you can dance like a spastic to their songs.

They are one of my favourite bands, and they are doing a whirlwind tour around the world right now. This means that you can go and see them if you live in Texas, New York, LA, London, Leipzig or Berlin!

This just in: the show tonight at The Smell in LA has been cancelled due to a case of "post-surgery bleedin gum", according to the band's myspaz.

Just in case you were thinking of going... The rest of their dates are still all go though!

I have to say, there are few (if any) times that I actually hear of a band that I like so much I want to spread the word about them as well. But, this is one of those times.

I wish I could go to one of their shows though. Maybe next time around.
