This is my team on FireRed right now. They're all right around level 40 right now, and I've only got six badges so far. As soon as Exeggcute and Growlithe learn all the moves I want, I'm planning on stoning them. It's not the best team ever, but right now I'm just trying to power my way through so my friends and I can have a tournament. Should be fun.

I just have FireRed and Emerald, so no trainer number or anything.

Guys, I need some advice. I have a battle scheduled with someone for this next Friday, and supposedly they have all level 100's (we're using blue and red) including level 100 Mewto. I, on the other hand, have mostly level 45-50's, and 2 level 100s (Starmie and Marowak). Is there any way to lessen the kicking of my ass?

been eons since i've rocked a portable game system, but i decided it was a good investment considering i'll be travelling in and out of town for work. grabbed pokemon pearl and mariocart ds (which i havent played yet)

so far i've caught every pokemon that i've come across. but my main line up is made up of:

Turtwig: Level 16
Buizel: Level 15
Abra: Level 14
Geodude: Level 15
Pachirisu: Level 15

considering i havent played pokemon since red/blue/yellow, the game holds a lot of nice little surprises for me. so far im impressed.

I just bought diamond last night, seems good fun so far.

I chose piplup. because ive always been a water guy.

Im actually kind of disapointed in how quickly i seem to be leveling.
Im at level 11 and it seems to have been a level up every second battle or so.

am I to take the compete silence in this thread to mean that everyone has got over this game already. Curse you Australia and you late release dates.
I've had the game for about two weeks now, currently training for the E4. Team consists of Empoleon, Luxray, Rapidash, Crobat and Gachomp. Pokedex 146 caught 75. Unfortunately I can't get on wifi because I only have dial up internet, so no friend code for me.

Not everyone. I'm definitely not over it, I'm savouring it (only just got second gym badge) because there's a bit of a game drought for me until contra 4 and phantom hourglass (both should be October in the USA which is when I will get them).

Incidentally, it's not always that bad here with release dates, we had Mario Kart DS the same day it came out in the US.

Dialup sucks, I feel for you. I really hate this country's internet access. It's like you can choose only 1 from: reasonably priced, available and fast.

P.S. If you're in Queanbeyan this week or Canberra any other time, PM me and we can play some Pokemans, local-area style. I like face to face DS play more than Wi-Fi Connection in general. Easier to smile/have fun and feels less antisocial.

This is just a problem with the battery. Open up the cartridge, and there should be a tiny tiny tiny battery in there. You just need to replace it. Good luck finding the battery though.

You can buy one at any hardware store, they use the same voltage for automatic car door openers. Just make sure to put electrical tape around the edges though, or else it'll fry. I have a webpage telling all about it.

Zubats aren't hard. They're just really fuckin' annoying if you don't want to bother dragging around rock type attacks.

The first time I caught a zubat I freaked out. I was young, loved the series, and couldn't wait to catch one. The night I finally did I was jumping up and down on my bunk bed, screaming, "I CAUGHT A ZUBAT, I CAUGHT A ZUBAT," at the top of my lungs.

I still kind of like them, but I hate getting that you have to have a golbat like you to become a crobat, and that's not worth the effort.
