i'll go ahead and say that i had no reference for either of these. i call them burns, but they're really just what i thought looked sweet at the time.

The first one is a little more realistic. Also, remember you can always post these in your other thread!

I'm gonna agree with princy on this, the second ones have a much more "glued on" look. Nice work though, what materials did you use?

The first one is a lot better. The second one kinda looks more like guts than a burn, so maybe a gash on the stomach? I don't know.

I did mock car crashes in high school, so I had crazy fake wounds a lot. No pictures, though.

the thing to remember about burns- if its that bad it will be blistering bad, a bit of latex which you pull up to look like poped blisters and some gliserin (sorry spelling isnt my forte) to make it look like they weeping will make a big difference.
the second one is realy interesting, have you thought about doing that over the whole body and make an alian or mythical creature?
it looks like you have great potential tho keep going
and remember- when in doubt... look up a medical jurnal, the pics are awsome (i keep a file of pics of me and my friends cuts and bruses and document them over time- big thanks to my sis who could get hurt standing still and has had some spectacular injuries over ther years)
