Anyone out there know if you get anything unlocked for beating any of the modes with all gold stars? I want to attempt it in easy and medium, but if there are no benefits to reap I'm not sure I want to take on such a crazy task.

I don't think so. You get something for five starring everything, but that's just a special guitar.

I've gotten gold stars on everything up to set 2 or 3 on hard, and I don't remember getting anything for it. Except for bragging rights I guess.
