Super robot Taisen: Original generations

Super robot Taisen (or it's literal translations Super robot Wars)

I don't know how many of you guys have heard of these games, as they're pretty much lokced to Japan due to licensing problems, but they are a type of strategy games, usually featuring giant robots, and mecha from various mecha anime (Like Gundam, Mazinger Z, Robotech/Macross, etc.) However, last year two games got released in the states for the GBA, both featuring a cast of completely new, original characters created for various SRT games, and placed into their own. The games featured great, funny, and interesting characters, cool robots, and battles, and interesting storylines. Now at the end of next month (6/28) a compilatin of both games is being released in Japan as "Original Generations." I'm looking forward to it extremely, and as it features no licensed mechs, and both previous games were released over here, a US release seems likely.

Here are some preview videos.

Those two games look really cool, but if you're going to be releasing GBA games in this day and age, they better be priced to sell. Since whoever released these two games within months of each other, why bother?? Why not just release both of them on one DS cart??

Actually, the compilation is being released on the PS2, My bad, I should have said that. The first two games were translated for the US by Atlus, kings of niche games.

Which were released on GBA in the U.S. within months of each other. Why not just wait for the PS2 port and release that here??

They did some funny stuff with the game engine in the remake for the ps2. It seems like it might work better, but I don't know yet. I have to wait for my copy to arrive.
