3 piece band looking for discerning ears
« on: 03 Jun 2007, 08:17 »

Man! It's been a long time since I have been here! (I was last around for the lateral thinking puzzles, I think...) Time to start POSTING again.

Anyway, what prompted me to remember about these forums is that we like music. I made some music with some friends and therefor there is a small chance that you might like it. Recorded a few weeks ago, vaguely mastered by me.

The Viz-Savvy omongst you may find the name amusing, at least. Cheers!

i realise that i am slightly buzzed on coffee in the toliets of a boeing 737 rubbing a wet rock on myself. if you've ever had a similar moment of clarity i think you may be able to relate to the feeling.

The drums are remarkably high in the mix but I dig the tunes.

Yeah, the drums are a bit high but this is pretty good.

I really like it.

I like drums high in the mix myself.

This reminds me of all the nineties rock bands I used to love and read about in Kerrang when I was a kid. That's a good thing, incidentally.

Man, it is nice to hear people say nice stuffs!

The recording isn't great, the instruments were all recorded at once, then the vocals sperately. 8 songs in a day. I was chuffed!
