God damn Intel Mac.

Can someone help me run a version of Mac that's older than OS X? I lucked across (read: dowloaded from Macintosh Garden, an abandonware site) an ancient copy of Civilization and the game would be perfect to have on a laptop. I need you to essentially walk me through the steps of getting this thing running.

You can install windows get a 68k mac emulator for windows but that seems a bit silly and a 68k mac might not do what you want.

It would be easier to buy a old mac.  A tray load iMac can't cost that much.

You misunderstand. My laptop is a Mac laptop, and I want to emulate older Mac machines on it.

Sheepsaver is what you want, but I have not used it, so I will not be providing instructions.
