Songs like Heavyweight Champion of the World

Okay guys, I am starving for new music and I've decided that what I crave right now are songs like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmfFmxJhtxU

Y'all are music nuts with huge music-collections so I'm hoping one or two of you will be able and willing to recommend songs similar in style or feel to the above in order to save my soul from withering and dying :)

Just because of a dancy connection I have to suggest this band called The Mean Girls from Marietta, Ga.

But Johnny's suggestion of The Automatic is a good idea too.  If you're in the U.S. they're called The Automatic Automatic (if we are in fact talking about the same band).

Yes, that is the band I'm thinking of.  I was really impressed that there was a decent band on my t.v. for once.
