Damn, I was hoping this was like what I did on another forum I frequented about 4 years ago.  I basically came up with a theme for a mix CD (the theme for my first one was all instrumental tracks, no lyrics) and had anyone who wanted to participate anonymously send me an MP3 that fit the theme, then I compiled them into one mix CD and designed some cover art/tracklist and all for it, then offered an ISO and PNG for people to burn and print.

It turned out really awesome.  Then after whomever wanted to step up and create a theme, and spend the time collecting tracks and compiling it, would continue the legacy.

I'll participate. I'll use a few of the mixes I made for another forum exchange. Can't really assure anyone of their quality, but I'll try to make them diverse, at least.

So, I made the mix, and everything. And it was really awesome.







....but my person never pmed me, and I didn't know who they were, and I hate pming people, so I drew some other cover art for it and gave it to my best friend as a gift.

Ah gay, really? I sent it awhile ago but risked doing so in the middle of local postal strikes. It's probably been returned to my home address or something.

Alright, the situation isn't as bad as I first thought. My machine still boots, but I need to get an adapter to plug in my external monitor, then I'll be back on track. Realistically, I can afford one in two weeks. I could probably steal one earlier than that.

I actually figured it would have already happened by now, lucky I saw the thread bumped with DK as last reply or I would've just assumed he'd got my CD. Not sure what the status re: everyone else is.
