Final Fantasy live is an incredible experience. If he has visuals with him you're in for a real treat.

Seen him twice.  He's really fantastic.  Especially if he has the visuals.  Also, it just so happens, that this Thursday, I'll be seeing him a third time.  In Montreal!  Do you live (t)here?

Nope I live in Laval, the city just north to Montreal
What about the openers, Basia Bulat and Ohbijou?

I've heard really good things about Ohbijou.  Know next to nothing about Basia Bulat.  No idea how either are live, or really even how they sound.

I was supposed to see him this past Friday with Ohbijou and Great Lake Swimmers but it was sold out.

Worst day of my life.

If you hear of a Final Fantasy show and you want to see him, buy tickets AS SOON AS YOU CAN. The boy's shows have a tendency to sell out quickly.

I've seen him once before in a really small venue and he's amazing. He has a really adorable, self-deprecating stage presence, and he's more impressive live than he is on record....mostly because he can replicate and go beyond the recordings with just himself and the oft-mentioned looping pedal. Also, there's a potential for new material! Also, he'll definitely have the visuals for a deal like Pop Montreal so that's a treat too!

Obijou are a lot of fun live. There are at least 6 of them and they're all bouncy and endearing while producing poppy tunes. Definitely something to look forward to. Don't know much about Basia Bulat.

....and I was going to be at that Pop Montreal show........but due to unfortunate circumstances I'm going to have to wait until November (and my birthday!) to see Final Fantasy again myself.

Are there men who look like women, scantly clad women, melodrama, and lots of magic? Then I'm there!

i have less chance than most to see him i think, as i'm in britain, but seeing him in a small venue was BRILLIANT

and we had visuals too

and he did a john cale cover!

he also covered james' hymn for a village, which was pretty.
