National Gaming Day @ your library.

http://www.ilovelibraries.org/gaming/

The retro video game event was a success at my library and I am kinda happy to hear that so many other libraries are doing stuff for National gaming day.

I think that sometimes money can be wasted on stuff like this though.  I know that I could not justify spending much money on modern video games for our local library.  Maybe others could.

In any case every public library in America is getting a free Hasbro board game out of the deal.

Is your local public library doing anything on November 15?

(Thanks again to eveyone who suggested retro games for the tournament.)

I am totally forwarding that link to my Aunt. She loooooves this kind of stuff, and she's always looking for new stuff to get people involved at the library. ...If she ends up doing something, I might have to actually go home to participate!
