There is a lot to be excited about in there. I am looking forward to Wii Ware, especially since Live Arcade is so fun.

I believe there's a North American Nintendo conference tomorrow. It'll probably just be all of the same announcements, but maybe they'll sneak something else in too.

But mostly, Fire Emblem DS. Between that announcement and the leaks of Advance Wars DS 2 that came out a while back, the strategy geek in me is just about pissing himself with joy.

Monster Hunter 3 has me excited. I don't know what a Monster Hunter is, but it looks gorgeous.

Isn't that a Sony title?

No, it's a Capcom series. It had always appeared on Sony platforms up until this point, so naturally jumping ship to the Wii has caused all manner of frothing at the mouth by PS3 fanboys. Go look at the comments section here if you need proof of that. To be honest, I didn't even realize Monster Hunter was relevant to anybody outside of Japan, but after reading that section, apparently I was incorrect. Although maybe Sony fanboys are so desperate for games to show off at this point losing anything will make them go batshit.

Other new stuff in the North American conference:

Obviously, the Smash Brothers delay. I mentioned it in that thread, not going to go into it here.
Advance Wars DS 2: Days of Ruin was announced for January 21, 2008. Awesome.
Battalion Wars 2 for the Wii was announced for October 29.
Trauma Center: New Blood (Wii this time, not DS) is scheduled for sometime in November, and it has co-op multiplayer. Craziness.
Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings was given a November 20th release date.
There are DS versions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Assassin's Creed in the works, but the DS version of the latter won't hit until February, unlike the former which will be released sometime within the general timeframe of the console/PC versions.
And Smash Brothers Brawl was playable by the press for the first time.

I swear, your comments are regularly classic.

That sounds pretty cool. I'm not sure what title seems coolest to me right now, but the trauma center game is probably up there.
