I have this friend, and he is like a young Riff Raff. He also has a leather jacket that makes me look like Eddie when I wear it.

I'd post a picture, but he's on it, so he'd kill me.

I know, they are the best fucking shoes ever.

The ridiculous part is that I wore them around for like 3 hours and they do not hurt my feet at all! WTF!

DOUBLE time warp--pictures of a much younger me wearing retro clothing.  whoooooaaaahhhhhhh.

(I think I posted one from that third photo shoot on this forum about twoooo years ago.)

Yeah, I did a very brief modeling stint for a vintage store my freshman year of college.  I am, however, about 60 or 70% of the time, wearing vintage anyway.  And then there are the moments that are pretty inexplicable:

I've always wanted to dress up like a 1920's Chicagoland Gangster.

Unfortunately, getting a real, good, high-quality trench-coat, scarf and fedora is rather expensive (I have the other components already.)

On eBay, you could get all three items for under $30 total, not including S&H.  I think this is a cop-out.  If I could fulfill life-long dreams for less than $30, I'd do it.

On that note, I've always wanted to dress up as Inigo Montoya or create a stage outfit based off him.

My problem is, I cannot find frilly shirts anywhere, not even on eBay, that don't come with sketchy looking leisure suits or stupid low-quality Halloween pirate costumes.

Brown leather pants are also difficult to get a hold of.

I actually have my grandpa's old Marine uniform, including the sword. It's a little too big, but I still throw it on every great once in awhile.

On eBay, you could get all three items for under $30 total, not including S&H.  I think this is a cop-out.  If I could fulfill life-long dreams for less than $30, I'd do it.

True, but I'm just not big on the whole thing of wearing clothes that some random person on the other side of the country has sweat in, stunk up and done god knows what in it or to it. I'm also a little on the short side (5'6") so it's hard to find something like a trenchcoat that's a good, comfortable fit. It's also not a "dream," it's just something that I've always thought would be cool.

Bitch where's my tommy gun?

That's a decent costume, and it was none too expensive. The hat was maybe twenty bucks, the jacket was ten at thrift, the tie I actually got from my university (~$24,000), the pants were just pants, and the shirt I got from my mom for christmas a good five years ago or more.

What the fuck, guys, it's just a drawing. It's a sketch of a dress. People who design clothes or whatever generally don't often get anatomy exactly right; they're just trying to communicate their ideas with as little complication as possible. I mean, shit, have you ever seen the sketches of ice skaters' dresses designers do? They're far worse than this one. My sketches barely look human when I am in a hurry and just trying to jot down ideas.
