Polvo are reuniting
« on: 21 Nov 2007, 18:37 »

You knew.  I hope they play more than just All Tomorrow's Parties in England.  I'd like to see them.

Please make them come to Kansas!

This is good news.

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.

Great band!

Aren't Polvos an enemy from Zelda games?

Hey look, a little introduction to the band Polvo on the QC Music Blog!

Wow! I'm going to read it twice.

Silly Tommy, a pitchfork is used for hay, not turf.

You can use it for either.

My line was more aesthetically pleasing.

Edit - Changed it to hay.

I keep starting to write stuff but I never finish it.

I have like six other things on the go now and I'm not starting anything else until they are done!

I wish I could get motivated enough to contribute there.  When I actually make myself do something, I can write really good stuff.

I really like Exploded Drawing.  I know it meanders a bit too much, but you make it sound like it's not a good release, which in my opinion it is.  I like almost every song on the album.

It's just that the term "weakest" tends to make something look bad.  Yeah.  Captain Obvious, that's me.

I don't like that record much.

If someone picked up that album first, I don't think they'd bother hearing the other stuff that is actually amazing.

It's funny, because they are probably my favorite band and I heard that record first, and loved it.  I especially love how Fast Canoe starts.  But to each his own.

There's a video of them playing 'Fast Canoe' here.

Not the most exciting live band!

I recently got into Polvo a bit ago. God, what an amazing band, I really hope they extend whatever future dates may happen to the West Coast. I totally blasted Cor-Crane Secret while driving home from college on Tuesday.

Lol.  I've seen that already, along with their "medley" of Fractured (Like Chandeliers) and Solitary Set, which basically sounded like them messing up the first song and then just playing the second one instead.

No, wait, a Polvo is what happens when you mate a Peugot and a Volvo.

I do not know enough about cars to work this up into a proper joke.
