Nrb, I love your ability to use your first post as a basis for discussion, and to inform those reading the thread of the topic for discussion.  It's inspiring, that people take such time to make sure their thread has a solid basis and possible direction.  I mean, hello?

I recently picked up the latest Wednesday Next novel, but I haven't finished it. I read the previous three in pretty quick succession a couple of years ago, and while they were amusing and very compulsive reading, they also offered pretty quickly diminishing returns. It's a cute conceit that he's following in those books, but it's essentially four (so far) novels from one joke. Still, they're good to read when I need some decompression time from the "heavier" stuff I normally read.

You should go and introduce your self to Dimmukae's friend Wikipedia.
