except johnny my dear sir we arw not debating in terms of lyrical content wea re debating in terms of the author/text/reader debate. Basically, what you are saying is that as a reader you can define space rock. Well you know explosions in the sky might sound pretty spacey to me. I mean, who can seperate the sky from space? Scientits?They have no dress sense and are orobably mostly furries. Hey I think Burzum are spoacey. BUT THEY ARE NOT SPACE ROCK. Basiccally you arte a fuck person.

Yawning Man, Nebula, and Hawkwind are the only space rock bands I know off the top of my head.

I'd call Spacemen 3 "drone rock" more than "space rock", but if you like them, you should check out The Telescopes.
