Dude I never got a PM.

I call shenanigans. Clearly this is a brilliant ploy to get people to assume his innocence. So brilliant, in fact, that I found myself believing it for the smallest fraction of a second; but only for that long. A mind so sharp as to concieve the idea but not sharp enough to predict the consequences is the perfect profile of a mafia member. They see the quick and relatively easy money (if you can stomach the chores) but do not see the quick retribution that will come to them if there is ever a cause to suspect them.

I accuse Ballard of conspiracy to murder in the least, though more heinous crimes than this would not surprise me.

That'd only work if we knew that the ordinary townspeople didn't get a PM, which I had to ask our narrator about. So I don't think so. It would be a clever double bluff though.

I vote Axerton. First person to cast a stone, which is always a dodgy position I know, but the reasoning behind his actions makes me suspicious.

I'm gonna say Dark Flame, because if he wasn't one of 'em last round, he'd better be one this round or I'd be killing him both times for nothing.

The votes currently stand as follows:

LordNagash - 2 3 4 5
Ballard - 2
Axerton - 1
Dark Flame - 1
Blue Kitty - 1
Stella - 1

The accusations are really flying but we need at least 5 votes to put someone on trial. Who will it be people?

I don't care what his defense is, he's trying to get out of it by naming himself just like RallyMonkey, didn't work for him and neither will it for Nagash, who I think is far more likely to be the killer than RallyMonkey was, so a pre-emptive GUILTY.

oh...oh my, someone.....someone actually accussed me.   after having been killed by werewolves in both of the threads, and then being killed by the mafia in the last one, this is the first time I have ever been accussed.

I think I may cry, thank you madam

sorry, but I can't think of any reason why it would be Lord Nagash, not guilty

Also, Nagash's behavior is getting fishy, kind of like shark bait or the nature of poisons, so I'm going to go with guilty.

So...if he gets 5+ votes of guilty before stating his defence, and the guilty votes outnumber the not guilty votes...it'd be in his best interest not to say anything?

By his own admission, LordNagash intended to murder poor Ampersandwitch. Conspiracy to murder is tantamount to carrying it out. Lord Nagash is as good as guilty.

LordNagash you have 7 Guilty votes from your fellow townspeople amd are hereby put to death.

LordNagash looked shocked when the verdict was passed down. As he was led to the Boobox he continuously proclaimed his innocence, yelling that yes, he had had a grudge against Ampersandwitch and yes, he wished he had killed her but that it wasn't him. He even admitted to sending the threatening letters but claimed he had never had the opportunity to follow through with his threats. Still kicking and screaming he was forced into the large black box and the lid was closed after him. The townspeople could still hear his somewhat muffled screams of terror and pain as scorpians were dropped into the box with him, one at a time, through a small hole in the top. The box began to shake violently and the screams increased in pitch and intensity but before long all was silence and the townspeople began to walk away.

I hope you all made the wrong decision. You might think that was a typo but I want you all to feel guilty, also it was a typo but I decided to run with it.

Go to bed you bloodthirsty lot and Roles, PM me your decisions.

For several days the town had been "all a tither" over the magistrate's brutal methods concerning the Mafia murders, some claimed the bizarre executions were too much, others claimed they were a fitting demise for those foul murderers. At any rate no one could deny that they were not humane, for the witnesses that is, because they're not boring. However because of the protests the magistrate agreed to go with a more traditional execution style in the future.

On the eve of her 23rd birthday, Mrs N.P. Character went to the local Italian restaurant for a fancy meal. It had been months since she had been out for dinner because of a string of events that shall not be explained here. Suffice to say that she was forced to do things she was not proud of and she's not answering any more questions.
Anyway, she went to the restaurant and ordered the Veal Neopolitana. When it was brought to her table she took her time eating it, savouring the flavour. Afterall, she didn't know when she'd get to do this again. As the amount of food began to decrease as, in an interesting case of negative correlation, the food in her stomach began to increase she noticed an odd flavour to the dish. She had never tried veal before but had not expected it to taste so...sweet. Very soon she let out a small yelp of surprise as she bit down on something hard and round. She spat the thing out into her hand and looked at it. Covered in neopolitana sauce was a small silver ring. Looking down into her bowl she noticed something else. The tip of a finger poking out through the pasta.

The police told her that she was not the only one who had found this nasty surprise. Many people in the restaurant that night had discovered human remains in their meal and worse yet, others hadn't. DNA testing from several of the unfinished dishes confirmed the identity of the person whose finger it was that Mrs Character had found.

Not only has the Mafia killed McTaggart but they've managed to have a popular ethnic restaurant closed down pending health and saftey checks!

Who could have done such a thing? Make your vote count people and consider the Hong Kong Kitchen for your next family outing!

Well for one, pasta was invented by the Chinese and the Italians stole it. Oh and the Italian Stallion, which I have just decided is the name of the Italian restaurant, got shut down. This isn't a large town, they only have two restaurants.
