Finalfantasy is a string of Playstation games, its not porno, lol. They're great games if you like RPGs.

Seriously though, I'm glad they've made the transition complete and just made the protagonist an actual woman this time.

The trailers look good, but you can make up a good trailer for just about anything. This game isn't coming out anytime soon, so I'm reserving judgment.

And add that to the fact they're most likely CG/pre-rendered with the UI shopped in on a few frames.

Wouldn't be the first time it's done for a FF trailer.

However, the parts that were actual game footage looked pretty nice. But I wouldn't expect this game until 2009 at earliest, so who knows what it'll look like by then.

i say "let it ride" considering how poorly realized the gunsword was in VIII.

but that's coming from someone who didn't like VIII but thought that gunswords were brilliant. i, personally, can't wait for a better iteration of this sweet weapon.

Well, I'm not one of those psychos who will buy a PS3 just for this game, but if they do a 360 port (which they should, since the White Engine would probably work better on the 360 anyway and Final Fantasy is probably a bigger series in America than Japan now) I'll probably give pay at least some attention to it.

I used to be a huge fan, but I appreciate American RPG variants (Mass Effect) more now. I just can't see buying a PS3 for this. My original plan was to purchase the PS3, finish the game, and return the ps3 calling the restocking fee my rental charge. Now I wonder if even that is worth it.

/sigh I hate VG exclusives. Let the best console win regardless of games.
