Also, Robert Plant. It's strange, somehow his voice manages to be sexy despite being a bit squeaky. It probably wouldn't be half as sexy if it didn't bring his twenty-something image to mind.

Since somebody mentioned Serge Gainsbourg, one cannot forget about Jane Birkin (and every girl who sings in French!!). I agree on Martina Topley-Bird.

I know is very 70's but Barry White was pretty cool, the other Barry (Adamson), also has a very cool voice. Also, a lot of people who recorded for Motown could be listed here.
