Mainstream to Indie (game)

Here's how we play. First poster lists a mainstream band, the next poster lists an indie band that is similar but better and tells how they relate, then posts a mainstream band of their own and it restarts. Neither band has to be a band you like it's more about providing substitutes for people when they say "OH I LOVE -blank-". Also It can be a very small similarity to keep it going faster.

Also don't criticize others choices just keep the game moving.

If you really need an example:

Connection: Similiar voice

Probably not, as he's already established his taste to us in his own thread, and he's smart enough to start a recommendation thread without a thin disguise should he want to discover new music.

Dude, did you see my thread before I deleted? I am like a machine when it comes to bands. Let's not have an indie knowledge battle. No this is not an attempt to listen to more obscure bands.. jesus.

I was doing it for comparitive reasons.
