That is actually a different picture than the one that was on the Rage album cover. There was more than one Buddhist monk who immolated himself in protest to the Vietnam War. I like it though. It is a pretty powerful image if you ask me. I'm not sure I catch your meaning when you say "please steal something in egypt" though.

Note the offenses: Cliche MySpace Angle (Complete with pouty look), flipping off the camera (showing how edgy I am), crooked hat (which should not be allowed in civilized society), not wearing pants (Seriously, how does this happen?).

You may find yourself demanding, "but Jon, this person has their pants down too." The fact of the matter is that it's still a god damn hilarious picture. It's not really inappropriate in that it just seems so absolutely matter of fact in its presentation. It will stop being hilarious if a bunch of people mimic it (Not to mention creepy), but I'm suitably impressed.

Note the final offense, I picture quoted too! If I see one more example of these things, I swear to Christ I will resurrect the "It's Inane" thread and/or post 8.0 megapixels of my hairy ass to this thread.

hahaha don't worry, I know I'm hairy. The lighting isn't very flattering either but it does make my legs look even MORE RIPPED than they already are.

The bird picture was a funny situation that I thought you all could appreciate. Sorry to offend anyone. However, I am posting funny pictures in a forum about a webcomic and really obscure music. This basically means that I am no longer nor was I ever 'edgy', but you know thanks for your opinion about my picture.

I understand why you all monitor this thread really closely and enforce a tight set of rules (such as the nudity rule and even the no flipping the bird rule). But let's be honest, people throw curse words and sexual innuendos around here like it's.. well I don't know... the internet. Saying that a picture is somehow wrong because someone wears a crooked hat or takes a picture of themselves from a top down angle is being really stingy. People are just showing themselves off in whatever way that they'd like. Which, from my understanding, is the point.

I'd say there are quite a few ways to take an immature picture, and I'll admit that mine may have crossed that line. But from what I've seen of the maturity level of these forums (and I've been lurking for most of these forum's existence just never registered... which may or may not mean anything to you) people should be able to handle a "myspace portrait" in a non-myspace way. I.E. Not commenting on how emo and cliche' the picture is.

But you know, whatever, these aren't my forums.

i guess it would be good to refrain from assuming too much about new people but i hope you'll forgive us for our quickness to correct. consider it an abundance of caution, if you will.

No. I know that my account name comes off as kind of lame, but there is a reason behind it. I am not a "bro" so no worries on that front. Actually, my real brother and I are really close and we call each other brosef for comical purposes. We have called each other that for some time, and so it has become a nickname that I have a good deal of affection for.
