I think that white one is the only decent bubble skirts I've seen. But would I wear it? No.

I would wear it if it looked good on me, but I think I'm a little too short and not quite skinny enough to pull it off. Which makes me sad.

The key with the white one is that it looks like a regular skirt, not a bubble skirt. You know how to achieve that look more consistently? Wear regular skirts, not bubble skirts.

I must say though, poo to Manda and her hatin on flats.

I've never heard of Bubble skirts, but those pictures make it look like they're wearing a colored trash bag.

That pretty much sums up why people shouldn't wear them! There are soooooo many skirts that do not look bad, so I would rather wear those.

You can really only look good in them if you have really thin legs.  If you have any fat at all, it's going to make you look like a weird marshmallow.

See, this is where the whole LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION comes into play!

I mean, just look at the stereotypes (hey, they got to be true for someone!), what do you think if you think stereotypical italian lady versus stereotypical amurkan lady?

Who would you prefer to see in a bubble dress (or any hot hot dress at all)?

(dont tell me you want to see me in one.... plz...)

Mine either.

i don't know about bubble skirts but i think bubble dresses can be super cute.

img 1

img 2

they are pretty silly-looking but i really like them, and i have seen people look really good in them.

Image 1 is cute, but would only look good on a rather thin girl who probably has no curves. Like it looks good on that girl (although she needs an effing bra or something), but she is very thin and if she was more voluptuous, it would make her look like a poofy marshmallow.

Image two, while the fabric is kind of cool, is ugly. It's like a babydoll, but makes the wearer look shapeless. (I like baby doll tops for comfort, but the dresses are really hard to pull off on any body type.)

You know, from a construction standpoint, bubble skirts are so silly. It is like a cheater hem, but it takes extra fabric to do. You may as well save yourself the money on the extra material and make a normal hem!

Oh hey guys, back to shoes for a bit, because I learned today that my sister doesn't "do" shoes, like I do, because she has super-long toes and she hates the way they always show above the tops of her shoes. She would be more into shoes ("I guess those are ok but I could never wear them") if she didn't hate her own toe cleavage so much. Anyone else have this problem? How do you get around it?

This thread really needs more pictures of ladies demonstrating their points. Things started going in the right direction on page 2, but then it all unraveled.

Oh man, if I have any opinion at all let it be on this. Those dresses pictured above are NOT awesome. They are the opposite of awesome. Formless dresses are horrible and deny the human form its beauty. And I like the beauty, I really do, I mean I may not care about the feet as much but they are like, 3% of the human body. C'mon, its like being born a peasant in the middle ages where you're forced to wear a shapeless burlap bag, why would anyone want that?

Formless dresses are great for people who do not really have much form to show off.

Also, opaque stockings is a brilliant idea.

Doesn't matter if there's not much to show off, there's still more than can be found within a dress that destroys any shape that is there! Not much is better than nothing.

Though maybe I am biased, since I have super long toes and I think you might actually be able to see the cleave when I wear slip on Vans or something.

I just rock mine. It's like choosing not to smile because you don't like the gap in your teeth. The cleave doesn't show as much when there's a round toe instead of pointy toe though. Or, she could buy up a half-size with a heel grip, but that doesn't really look good either since then you have a weird gap between the heel and back of the shoe.

There's something interesting there, too. I -despise- pointy toed shoes on ANYBODY. No exceptions. Absolutely none.

'Cept maybe the Swiss Guard 'cause they're so goofy-looking that they're just plain BADASS.

Also people dressing up as historically-accurate fools at renaissance faires. You have to give them credit because they went and wasted all that money on their costume, AND their toes have bells on!

I have a pair of pointy-toed dress boots. They are for very very special occasions (basically when I cannot get away with combat boots or docs; weddings etc...) only and it is damn near impossible to climb stairs in them. It's ridiculous! I don't like my shoe ending 2 inches after my foot does, it's like wearing a fucking pair of flippers.

I like pointy toed shoes for girls and only when the point is within an inch of your toes. Guy point-toed shoes get kind of ridiculous with the length of point. You can have classy shoes without that point nonsense, boys.

i have nice boobs and i have nice legs, but everything in between is kind of "eh".  so dresses that are tight on top and lose their shape at the bottom look pretty okay on me!

(then again, i can look good in almost anything.  because i am sexy.)
