The closest thing to a southern accent I can get is a Kentucky accent. You know, the stereotypical accent of the US. I will do this when I'm not at work.

I can't be bothered to dg out my mics. Last year, some people made a documentary about me, called 'From the Island' where they got me drunk and talked to me. It was quite fun.

Part one is here.

Part two is here.

This is the best thing!

Dude, that film is actually really great.  It made me feel all like, wow, I think in a totally different reality, I think Khar and I would really get along! Plus, it was also just really well made.

And Patrick sounds almost exactly like a friend of mine, and it also makes me think like, hey, in real life, we could possibly be homies.

And as for Joe, well, Joe just makes me go <3<3<3!

Just pointing that out.

I don't have a microphone guys, so you've been saved from my wierd Canadian/Australian accent and horrible singing. Yay!

This is what I sound like in not shitty phone quality!

Sadly I do not do a southern drawl. I do over pronounce the L in drawl though. Does that compensate?

Ok, I did two more spoken ones. This one is about southern accents, though Katie's classy southern accent is better than mine, and here is some more advice for Darryl.

I was also going to cover Dynamite Hack's cover of "Boyz In Tha Hood" but god damn I am terrible at finger picking.

Just about any documentary that lets the subject matter speak for itself is bound to be great, I guess, as long as the subject matter is interesting itself. In this case, he is!

Maybe you have heard this before, but I am posting it again. It was my big hit in the 80's! Pardon the noise, it was hot and we had to have a lot of fans on in the studio that day.

Especially when no one is actually posting samples of their Street-ness for judging.

Also I just came across an article in my English book about Ebonics and its linguistic origins as a pidgin language and how it is similar to Gullah and Creole.

Maybe it's just my slow inter-nets, but I really have not been able to get that file to play on QuickTime all day. iTunes isn't gonna happen, I'm not going to save something to my hard drive, it's already loaded to bursting and I'm too lazy to delete shit.

Y'all don't know what it's like, being male, middle class, and white.

Do you have the most current form of quicktime? WAV files should open automatically in there. And if you have too much crap on your computer, BACK IT UP AND DELETE IT. GAWRSH.

What is this 'street' thing? Does it have anything to do with growing up in poverty with the every day threat of losing your home?

And Patrick, man, I have about 14gb free at the moment. I got sick of hearing the 'YOUR HARD DISK IS ALMOST FULL' message and so I put half of m TV shows/movies onto disc. You're just being an ass. Don't tell people not to upload .wav files when YOU are the guy with the problem!

I have about 2.5GB left and every time I make a recording it's 400MB or so before I convert it to mp3. I understand that's my problem, but hey. I might not be the only one.

Aside from that, I have shit-slow internets and .wav files are freakin' huge, therefore taking forever to download even if I -did- have the disposable space for it.

Yeah, you seriously need to clean up your hard drive. No excuses.

Darryl, street is just a way of speaking when you want people to think you're all tough and mean and will bust a cap when really you just want to frolic in a field with puppies and kitties and pick flowers, but you don't want anyone to know. Or because you really would kill somebody. But it's really hard to tell, for fear of getting beaten up.

This is me reading Cool Air by H.P. Lovecraft. In fact, I'm a bit of a Lovecraft nut really, so here is me again, reading The Music of Erich Zann, by the same author, but that one's got music! Check it out, actual music at the start and at the end! Speaking of music, ask Valley_P for some awesome noise music by him, and you can even hear this crazy yap in the background!

Also, Slick, you are now the voice of Cheese Night down at the Club.
Next we want a cover of "I Touch Myself" by the Divinyls. DOOO EEEET.

Super PS: be quick, folks, because sendspace buggers away with these files in about a day!
