beirut is better than neutral milk hotel

I am sorry but you just guarantee'd I will never listen to another thing you say ever.

and you have statistical evidence to prove that my claim is any less truthful than your claim? sorry sugar boobs but if you don't like my opinion boo hoo, go cry later, your opinion is not better than anybody elses no matter how much we conflict and i think your an idiot

you want to stop listening to false opinions? stop saying opinions, because for every statistical false opinion i say, i gauruntee you've said more
people have different opinions, deal with it, or close your eyes ears AND mouth mr three monkeys

at least beriut is consistant, NMH just convinced me that they have one album that i can listen to all the way through without wanting to burn my hipster scarves and my buddy holly demeaner
I'm not trying to fight zerodrone's fights for him or anything, but he never said your opinion was false. There is no such thing as a false opinion.

Precisely.

Are you a boy or a girl?  Either way I love you because "Gardenhead/Leave Me Alone" is the best NMH song ever.  In fact the best lyric ever is "I swear I have nothing to prove, I just want to dance in your tangles to give me some reason to move."

NB: My heart is pledged to another so I'm kidding about loving you!  Still, you are OK in my book.  Music forums need more people like you and De El!

One man calling another man "sugar tits" is sexist?

It's a derogatory term based on gender (and you could argue that men can theoretically have breasts too but you and I both know that's not where the term comes from). That's pretty much all the proof I need.

"Sugar tits" is derogatory?  I agree that it's crude and objectifying but if you have thick enough skin not to care it's kind of a compliment, sorta.  It's like, oh, check that out, an asshole thinks I'm attractive enough that I shouldn't need to be intelligent.

This post cracked me up. It kind of describes the internet, in a way.

Actually, most of this thread is cracking me up.

But yeah, pretty much among the best albums ever.
I wish NMH would get back together and do more stuff.

Or at least play a show.

Why do the awesome bands break up before I'm old enough to care about them? D:

Chisel- Set You Free
TL;RX- The Tyranny of Distance
TL;RX- Hearts of Oak
(Haven't listened to Treble in Trouble, but I like two songs from that EP)

That's all you need from Ted, really. Shake the Sheets = Shake the Shit Sandwich.

The full band version of 'Loyal To My Sorrowful Country' from the Blueline Medic split is one of my favourite Ted songs.

I also quite like a fair bit of Sheets to be fair. Tyranny is the best by far and everything he did with Chisel is better overall, but 'Me & Mia', 'Little Dawn' and the title track are pretty cool.

...wait wait wait. You're knocking THAT album, but you're promoting Hearts of Oak? Not to be a dick, but I do believe you are doing it wrong, sir.

Seriously, "Bleeding Powers" and "Walking To Do" alone can destroy anything on Hearts of Oak any day.

Also yeah Khar we know you don't care about anything but metal :B
