Continuity Question

Which gender is Princess? Last strip the cat is declared by Sven to be male while during its first appearance Sven declared it to be female.

As I said elsewhere, the world of QC is different to ours: space habitats, sentient robots, laser cannons. Cats can spontaneously change gender if they choose.

Not a continuity problem at all.

Man, if I was the sort of person who quoted things like that in my signature, I'd quote that it my signature.

Well, if all else fails, the cat is gay.

"What's her problem?" "prostrate issues" "oh tell me about it honey!"

If I remember correctly Jeph actually fixed the comic because of that issue. It was in the side note of the comic..

Other than that you have to remember it seems that Jeph kinda writes this as he goes so don't expect 100% continuity, just enjoy it for what it is.

Perhaps the cat is the same exotic species of Felinus Retconicus as Spot the Cat of Star Trek The Next Generation fame.  That breed can switch genders faster than you can say Jurassic Park.

Cats in webcomics have astonishing abilities. Just look at Choo Choo Bear in Something Positive.

Princess's first appearance was in strip 877. In 1077 Hanners said "he" and Sven didn't correct her, maybe he was just being polite.
