I always ask my friends what they really hate but they just say that they don't know.

tell, tell.
do tell.

I was hoping this would be a thread about, well, feedback, not "tell me what you think" stuff.

I'm going back to bed :(

I was likewise hoping for talk of feedback.

That said, I like your voice. There are a hundred billion ways to do that croaky/"I can't actually sing" style badly, but yours doesn't irritate me like most of 'em.

I've listened to most of what's on your page, I like signature moves the best, I think. I like what's happening on the guitar in I was more of an entrepreneur, though.

*giving a couple of tracks a second listen*

The more I listen the better the slightly shaky execution of the guitar parts seems to fit. I like this pretty well! (fyi I don't generally go for this type of thing at all, I like misanthropic pagans and clicks and beeps)

A everybody else, I was hoping to find a place to discuss my love for guitar feedback.

I don't know if linking to your myspace profile in the music section is a good or bad way to strat posting here. Also, there is a thread for that kind of thing.

That being said, I think your music is OK and I will send you a friend request.

Is there any chance we can change this to be about actual feedback?

Limbs.

I guess it is good sometimes, but most of the time that part feels like I am standing next to my dad's table saw while it is running and I don't have my earplugs in.

Feedback is great. I have no idea why people clutch their ears and scream.

It's like this entire forum was designed for me to talk exclusively about the virtues of guitars like the Gibson ES-335 and her relatives.

God that is some good breeding in that family.

Feedback is great. I have no idea why people clutch their ears and scream.

It's when you don't use it right that people go "oh god what is that." For example, I was at a battle of the bands thing last year and this one group of kids just had their guitars feedback for absolutely no good reason and it was just terrible. They were like a heavy metal band too, not drone metal or anything like that. It was really lame.

You need to do it like Shane. That's doing it right.

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.
